Lucas Bol
Lucas is BCAP I and Beach Impact certified by USA volleyball and is the current Head Sand Volleyball coach for Cabrillo College, as well as Director of Santa Cruz Beach Volleyball Club. He has 10 years of coaching experience throughout the Santa Cruz County for Santa Cruz Beach Volleyball Club, Aptos High/Junior High, Valencia Elementary, and was the assistant indoor women's volleyball coach for Cabrillo College in Aptos for 3 years, 2012-1014.
Lucas credits his coaching style and information to the players and coaches surrounding him who have helped lead him to where he is today. He is always finding new ways to teach and learn from all his hours on the beach and in the gym.
Lucas was born and raised in Aptos, attended both Cabrillo and UCSC where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Ecology and Evolution. He loves the local community, especially the volleyball community, and they serve as his inspiration to keep giving back and doing all he can to progress beach volleyball in the Santa Cruz area. When not coaching, you can find Lucas on the beach at Main Beach or Rio working to keep his AAA , riding his bike, gardening, or tutoring math and science.
